Community partnerships within the public health community is critical in closing the gap between clinical research and patient care. The Public Health Institute at the University of Maryland School of Medicine invited members of the academic medical community to come together to develop workshops and partnerships intended to bridge the gaps between knowledge and implementation in treating patients. Doyle Communications developed marketing and communications collateral for this important event that supported its success with high attendance, exposure and support from the community.
