Empty Bowls Fundraising Event

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore (SVDP)

Empty Bowls is an annual fundraising event for SVDP that generates awareness and revenue for SVDPs hunger services programs. As Director of Marketing and Communications, Colleen Doyle elevated a WBAL-TV sponsorship to a $26,000 value that garnered more than five earned media segments for SVDP, a series of strategically placed PSAs, and event participation from WBAL personalities. In the end, the event earned more than $128,000. Colleen Doyle planned, created, and disseminated all print, digital, social, and paid media, planned and helped to execute the earned media segments, and created all day-of signage, presentations and video.
