Human Impact: Acid Rain

Acid rain often consists of both sulfur and nitrogen in the rainwater. This combination can precipitate onto structures and cause a good bit of erosion. It also speeds up the process of deterioration in paint. This makes structures erode much more quickly, and it begins to lose shape quicker.
